Press Release Summary: On the 15th of August 2007 Ford became the world's first automaker to set a land speed record for a production-based fuel cell powered car when its Ford Fusion Hydrogen 999 raced to 207.297 mph at Bonnenville Salt Flats in Utah to set the record.
Press Release Body: On Friday 15th February CD-adapco will close the door for the final time in Nrnberg\'s HDI Tower, the place that CD-adapco Germany has called 'home' for more than a decade.
The reason? CD-adapco has outgrown its old home and is moving to a plush purpose built office in the new state-of-the-art Nordostpark development, located close to Nrnberg airport. The new office occupies 2000 square meters and has the potential to house well over 100 talented developers, support engineers and consultants, allowing CD-adapco to effectively double the size of its German operation over the next few years.
First opened in 1991, with just a single employee, the German office has the consistently been one of the fastest growing parts of the CD-adapco empire. In 1998, when CD-adapco moved into the HDI Tower, they initially occupied just one-half floor, later expanding to take over two full floors of the building. With its strong position in the automotive sector, CD-adapco has always been strongly committed to the German market and, according to European Sales Director Raimund Schipp, this significant investment is a strong statement of intent: "The new office gives us the opportunity to expand the talented array of people that serve the German market and CD-adapco as a whole. We have always prided ourselves on the quality of our people\", he says. "Becoming a CD-adapco customer means more than purchasing world-class software or services; it opens the door to an unrivalled wealth of engineering expertise."
The new offices also includes a large area for visiting customers, state of the art training facilities, and fully equipped meeting rooms and demo theatres. Office Manager Maeve O'Brien says: "We have always worked hard to make visitors to our offices feel welcome. The new office space allows us to do that in comfort; it is specifically designed to facilitate meeting and interacting with our customers. "
